  1. California Governor Gavin newsom wrote:

“Rob was the big-hearted genius behind so many of the classic stories we love,” the governor and first partner wrote in a statement late Sunday. “His boundless empathy made his stories timeless, teaching generations how to see goodness and righteousness in others — and encouraging us to dream bigger. That empathy extended well beyond his films. … He made California a better place through his good works.”

  2. RIP to Rob and his wife. An awful situation on what happened, to.

I may watch one of my favorite movies, “The Princess Bride,” in his memory.

  3. I don’t get it. Where I live, people with a bit of money have live-in help. I read cases like this as well as Gene Hackman, Ivana Trump and others, where they die alone. If someone was there, there might of been a different outcome.

    • The latest I heard was their son has been arrested for this.

Their son had his demons, unfortunately–drug addiction and homelessness.

And as far as I know, they were able to live on their own even though Rob was 78 and his wife was 70.

Caveat: I may have seen this info within 24 hours of the murders. As a rule, take any news of a major event such as this with a grain of salt within 24 hours of the event.
