It appears a cult member, otherwise known as a snowflake, simply clicks the thumbs down button without ever reading the article. Simply because they know they can’t handle facts and articles that make their orange god look stupid.
Sad their inability to articulate anything other than their hate and fear they have been trained to feel, in exchange they have foregone any critical thinking skills. Because being willfully ignorant allows their flagrant racism to be excused.
The Supreme Court ruled that making districts by race is illegal (unconstitutional) and the democrats are upset they can’t keep segregation going, thus they do childish things like setting fires in a building.
For those upset by the Supreme Court ruling: can a predominately White district not be adequately represented by a Black person? Can a predominately Black district not be adequately represented by a White person? If you answer “no” to both of these questions, you are the racist. And also do not realize that these situations are happening in a few areas around the country.
So, redistricting according to race is all wrong but redistricting during the mid-decade according to party is all right? Especially since the one party looks like it will be taking quite a loss due to their incompetent and lawless leader. Funny how most Republicans are white and so many bigoted it’s easy to redistrict to get the majority.
Anyone who thinks a white person voted in by whites will go out of his way to represent the minorities in his district is so very naive. Just like believing the present Republican loaded Supreme Court is unbiased.
Calling someone a racist because they know black and brown people are still the oppressed ones and not the whites is disingenuous and lacking in self-reflection.
The MAGA Republican mantra is, “We are the victims here. Those “other people” have rights too”. Authoritarian governments have used that playbook for years.
Every state has their own rules on when and how to redestrict their state, so the party in charge of the state will try to do it to their advantage.
That’s why states like Illinois and the New England ones have about 36-42% of the population vote Republican but have no Republican representatives.
And I don’t think the LA vs. Callais case the Supreme Court just ruled on has anything to do with redistricting mid-decade.
And how are black and brown people being oppressed? What rights does a white person have that a black or brown person does not?
Illinois has Bost, Miller and Lahood as GOP reps. which include the 15th and 12th district, two of the largest districts in the state. They happen to contain the bulk of conservative voters in that state. So, once again you speak of things you know nothing about. New England is not a state. It’s a region.
“And how are black and brown people being oppressed? What rights does a white person have that a black or brown person does not?”
Your white privilege will never be able to understand the issue. Period. Full stop.
“Facts, they could hurt our beliefs and reasoning if we would listen.”
But if they listened and used reason they wouldn’t be Trump supporters.
Bigots identify with Trump. Including my bigoted brother who can’t even stand to listen to him speak.
Huh? Besides forgetting Illinois has 3 Republican representatives, what facts did I get wrong?
All of them: “That’s why states like Illinois and the New England ones have about 36-42% of the population vote Republican but have NO Republican representatives.”
You called New England a state for starters. And you claimed Illinois has zero republiklans represented in Congress.
For someone who can make a comment about one’s inability to follow simple instructions, you are lacking both in geographical understanding, grammatical ability and political facts.
Yes, New England is a region–and as I said, each of those states that make up the New England area have anywhere from 36-40% of their population voting for Republicans but they have no Republican representatives.
Is that simple enough for you?
Too bad you can’t explain what rights a white person has that a non-white person does not have–mainly because there are no rights that one race has over the others in the USA.
Do you wake each morning wondering if on your way to work you will pulled over by a cop and then shot? Have you ever had to sit down with any of your children (gawd forbid you reproduce) and have that talk about how to handle such an incident with a cop in hopes of not being shot? Do you do your job while whispers of talk circulate that you didn’t deserve it because of the color of your skin, regardless of your merits to get there?
It’s called Systemic inequality which refers to deeply ingrained disparities in wealth, opportunities, and privileges that are embedded in a society’s institutions, laws, and policies, rather than resulting from individual actions. It disproportionately impacts marginalized communities—particularly people of color—across sectors like housing, education, and employment, creating persistent, generational gaps in wealth and stability.
While the laws may imply otherwise, society’s actions provide different rules as to how those laws are applied.
If you still fail to grasp the issue, I suggest you review your white privilege by asking if you’d gladly trade your present life with a typical person of color.
And once again, little Timmy, and I’ll type this slow in hopes of you grasping the instructions better. Answer with a yes or no: Do you believe Donald J Trump lost the 2020 election?
Take a moment from eating your crayons and use those knuckles you normally drag along the keyboard, to type out a two or three letter response.
Hey, Timmy, care to answer this question: Did Donald J Trump lose the 2020 election?
You’re always willing to chime in with your ignorant blather with Logical Fallacies, so how about answering the above question that requires only a negative or affirmative, sans your usual bullshit.
Wow–and I used small words to help you. You are the reason they put instructions on shampoo bottles.
The 2020 election was certified so he lost.
And congratulations on getting your irrational hatred under control so you can actually type out Trump’s name.
“I’m the victim here.” -Donald J Trump
I typed his legal name because you would use another descriptor as a way out to weasel out of replying. Yet, you still failed to reply what YOU think. The answer required either a Yes or No.
BTW, your initial response to the gerrymandering issue highlights your white privilege.
It’s not irrational to hate a mass murderer, a rapist, a felon, and a pedophile. It’s irrational to constantly defend him.
A MAGA true believer will defend his love of Trump and his Fact Free-dom to the buttered end.
Their failing defense finally becomes some cut and pasted put downs or wahtaboutisms.
As suspected, can’t answer with a simple yes or no.
Two simpler words, one which shames you to even attempt to use.
