  1. There’s been observations that Texas’s redistricting have made red districts purple and now risk going blue in the upcoming election. Not sure if the situation is same in blue states who redistricted. Either way, the GQP will complain if they don’t come out ahead in the end.

    Just glad the Dems are employing the same dirty tricks the GQP uses. Next the Dems should use caging and purging of voter rolls, just like the republiklans.

    • Not in blue states–their gerrymandering ensures there are more democrat-leaning voters in each district than republican-leaning voters.

      For instance, in Illinois, the removed the district Kinzinger (pseudo republican) represented. So now, Illinois is something like 35% Republican but they only have maybe on Republican rep.

      So yeah, both parties try to gerrymander to their advantage when in charge of their state.

      And for Virginia, a judge halted the voting certification because of potential legal issues with the way the law (or whatever it was) was written or how they tried to do it.
