  1. The best BBQ I have had was at a place that used a dry rub and not a sauce.

    The second best did use a sauce.

    So maybe you have not found a good BBQ sauce yet.

    • The source I had for the great BBQ sauce is no longer around.

      The guy who developed it and ran the restaurant finally retired and I don’t think the new owners had the same love of the place.
