The first of three cruises coming to an end
not much in the way of sightseeing pictures, this one was a quick out and back for Lilly’s spare hobby as a travel agent – a company cruise with the boss lady and fellow agents. The next cruise starts Friday and we will have more touristy shots on that one. I promise!
This is on Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas. Honestly it’s too big for us, and more kid friendly than adult oriented. Next cruise(s) will be Celebrity, for us more fun and less chaos
On this day in 1972, a legend was born
That legend is me. Lots of mileage on this body, having worked twenty years in food service climbing the ranks through to Executive Chef and Restaurateur, Law Enforcement, Powersports, and leaving the workforce to take care of my parents. I’ll be using the entire month of August on vacation, starting in the Caribbean and ending in the UK. if anyone would like to meet up with me in the UK for a pint, I have a vehicle over there and will be traveling around seeing mates all along the Midlands up towards the Highlands. Some Eagle eyed viewers may have noticed the absence of posts today
We have had quite the adventure in Scotland – seeing the William Wallace Monument yesterday, staying in a c1854 High school (before being renovated into a hotel in 1990), visiting the Falkirk Wheel and the famous Kelpies before heading back to Morecambe and ending the day now – at almost 3am GMT! The following pictures and links should make up for everything missed today, will have more adventures tomorrow including Blackpool Illuminations, shenanigans, and imbibing once again!
