Trump basically showed up with a couple of aircraft carriers, murdered some school girls then looked around for help.
No one was joining his gang rape of the Middle East.
Worse, infinitely worse, Trump, having declared victory after the first day, didn’t seem to have a plan for Day Two. Or Day Three. Or Day 68.
In the most terrifying moments that were sublimely comical, Trump tossed deadlines around like covfefe, TACOed beautifully, got banned from allied airspace, had meaningful negotiations with himself, and at the end of the day had was over four bucks a gallon and MAGAdom began collapsing around Trump like an overfilled diaper.
At this juncture, with midterms six months away and Trump relying on SCOTUS to gerrymander away minority voters, things look decidedly grim for Republicans.
And worse for Trump.
If he disengages with Iran after all the “unconditional surrender” talk it’s going to look a like Trump lost the war with Iran. But that was clear on Day One, wasn’t it?
Trump Lost the War With Iran is going to be the only headline coming out of this other than a ruined economy.
Worse, for Trump, the Epstein Files have not gone away.
Every day there’s new news, new horror, new victims and there’s New Mexico, where the bodies are buried.
Trump doesn’t have any cards left to play in the Middle East. Neither his bombs nor his bluster impresses the Iranians.
The traditional allies have abandoned him in favor of more stable and less violent regimes, like Iran.
China is backing Iran and destroying the American navy in the process. Taiwan is there’s for the taking. Trump won’t be able to start another war.
Basically, Trump is wishing for the end to look like the world did before the war talk and bombs fell. He wants a do over. Trump wants America to be respected by their allies and foes alike.
And, perhaps, sooner than Trump suspects, the damage will begin to be repaired.
But Americans have to vote Trump’s lackeys out of the government and elected people who will do right by the Constitution.
Trump has to be tried, and if convicted, be imprisoned.
Justice must be sought with vigor. You have to ask yourself, I would hope, what would Trump do to those who he had such a preponderance of evidence against? Rape, murder, corruption without end, and a war that eliminated any ally we might have really had in the Middle East? What should be the punishment for the dead little girls, the raped little girls, and the things Trump has done to hide his part in all of this?
America can still awaken from the cult nightmare and take the country back from Big Money.
It will not be easy.
I fear it will not be without bloodshed.
But without the reckoning of how Trump was able to do what he did, and without the Justice Department and Congress putting Trump on trial, we lay open for the next con man.
We must never allow this to happen again, or we have done nothing.
The Fate of America, now hangs in the balance.

Epic Fails and Charles Darwin
For reasons that escape reason, young people began eating Tide detergent pods and posting videos online of them eating the pods. It became a thing. Eating Tide won’t kill you outright, but it was a lot like watching the two cute chicks eating Carolina Reapers.
People do stupid things because they believe that the stupidity somehow lends them an aura of bravery or indifference to consequences.
The two women in the Carolina Reaper video suggests that this is not only untrue, but catastrophically false.
One of the first terrible things I saw online was the video of a young man on top of a three story building with a skateboard. His plan was to jump off the building, land with the skateboard on a rail below, then slide down the rail while the video was being made.
He jumped. He landed perfectly. But instead of going down the rail he went face down into the concrete. His friend behind the camera laughed then stopped. The would be skateboarder was not moving at all.
“Dude?” is the last word you hear from the cameraman before the video ends.
I think he was dead when he hit the concrete.
It’s difficult to believe people do things that are either embarrassing or painful or lethal, and have someone making a public record of it. Yet the internet has tens of thousands of videos like these. Those clips of people using a chainsaw to cut down trees that then fall on houses or cars are legion. Anyone can walk into a hardware store and buy a chainsaw, and they kill and maim more people every year than do rattlesnakes. Most people who drown can swim but they put themselves in positions where their skill comes up lacking.
The video of a man talking his girlfriend into shooting him with a .357 at short range is stunning in its idiocy. He tested a bullet proof vest at one hundred feet and it withstood the bullet. At twenty-five feet it killed him.
All of these example of otherwise functional human beings hurting themselves, maiming themselves, or others, and all of it live and on camera, is a stunning testament to the power of evolution fueled by downright stupidity. The young man launching himself off a three story building to concrete below displays an extraordinary ignorance of basic physics. His friend behind the camera laughs at the sight of a friend lying still after impact. He simply does not comprehend the danger, either. He will go to his grave replaying that day in his mind, over and over.
None of this, not one example I’ve given to you today comes anywhere close to the sheer magnitude of stupidity, or lack of understanding, or outright indifference to the lethality of what has happened when people voted for Trump.

friday firesmith – trump’s war on america
Iran has been chanting “Death to America!,” since 1979, when the people of Iran deposed the dictator we installed back in 1953.
Our illicit and sometimes outright illegal activities, not to mention the bombings and economic sanctions, have not led to peace. Now we’re in a full fledged war with a country incapable of doing much stronger than chanting at us.
Until now.
Trump had blustered and blundered his way into a war he cannot extract himself from and cannot claim victory and walk away. A man who bone spurred Vietnam five times has created a new endless war he cannot get out of, and each day he stays in things get much worse for both Trump and America.
Iran has a legitimate opportunity of doing real damage to the Unites States of America, and they’re getting plenty of help. By lifting sanctions on Iran, while he’s bombing the same country, Trump has assured the world Iran’s economy is booming. Whatever damage we can inflict, Iran will have the money to pay for.
Infinitely worse, Russia’s futures have likewise brightened. Russian oil is flowing again, with buyers in the Pacific ignoring Trump’s admonishments not to buy. Russia can now fully fund their destruction of Ukraine thanks to Trump.
China and Russia can now both send intel to Iran as to where to hit the Americans, how to hit them, and maybe even pay them to strike American positions throughout the Middle East.
Suddenly, Trump decided to call up the Marines.
If there is anything more asinine than a war in the Middle East, it’s a ground war in the Middle East. Recruitment numbers were already crashing and now very real possibility of a bloodbath, with American blood flowing, looms large.
Once we establish any sort of infrastructure anywhere close to Iran, it’s going to make the previous Gulf Wars look like Disney. Bereft of allies willing to join in the stupidity, Marines and the American Army will be sitting ducks for any armed group in the Middle East who has a grievance against America, or Israel.
In the meantime, Israel is burning through billions of American dollars bombing people anywhere they think someone might die. By targeting oil fields and energy infrastructure, it’s only a matter of time before oil prices reach a point Americans are walking to work, if they can find a job.
How will this affect Trump and his family? Not at all. They’ve grifted their way through this war as if it were money for the taking. Qatar gave Trump a billion dollar plane and in return he allowed them a base in America. We have no idea what’s other deals he’s making or with who or for how much, but we do know Congress doesn’t have the balls to do anything about it.
As long as the Epstein files keep pinging the headlines, Trump will cause wars. It’s his way of distracting the county from the idea he ought to be serving life sentences without the possibility of parole.
Are we great again yet?

friday firesmith – the pedophile war continues
This week the whole of nations across the globe told Trump to go “Eff” himself. Newly elected, he tossed tariffs out at anyone and everyone he could, railing against the inequity of global trade. Canada and Mexico, our closest neighbors and long-time friends, were threatened and bullied as well as fellow NATO countries.
Trump proclaimed America was doing too much for too many and “America First” was tattooed on his forehead.
Things descended into Hell.
When the European countries began not only releasing the Epstein Files, but also punishing those in them, Trump began to sweat, and he also began waging war. His quickie invasion of Venezuela and the illegal and immoral kidnapping of the president of that country, puffed Trump up like a schoolyard bully. Nations would tremble at his name.
Trump spend a lot of time and tweets telling people Obama would attack Iran to cover for being a bad president. Then Trump turned around and attacked Iran, telling everyone who would listen and more than a few who didn’t want to hear the sound of his voice that Iran’s nuclear program had been completely destroyed and it would take years and years to rebuild.
But the Epstein Files began to build attention and Trump’s name was mentioned so often it seemed like Epstein might have been working for Trump.
So Trump attacked Iran again.
Trump was looking for another Venezuela. He got Nam in the sand. Iran attacked in all directions, sending missiles after anyone who wasn’t an enemy of their enemy. They stopped oil from leaving the Middle East and American gas prices spiked upward quickly.
The man who promised gas at two bucks a gallon could soon see a half gallon go for more than that.
And things were worsening by the moment. The aircraft carrier Gerald R Ford arrived without functioning toilets. A fire broke out in a laundry room destroying the bedding of hundreds of soldiers. The toilets are clogged with tee shirts and debris, fueling the rumor the sailors aboard the Ford are sabotaging the ship so they can go home.
Trump cried for help from allies to help make the waters in the Middle East safer for oil tankers and was met with stoney faced glares from the men and women he once threatened with tariffs.
Now, back home, with the midterms eight months away and counting, gas prices are still rising, our military is in a war no one knows how to end, and Trump cannot string together a coherent sentence.
The price of gas will get him even if the war he claimed Harris would start if she was elected, is somehow stopped. Crops are not being planted this spring because of fuel costs and they will not be harvested in the fall. Food prices and fuel prices at all time highs as winter closes in is going to hurt millions of Americans.
And the Epstein Files are not going away. It’s looking worse and worse for Trump and his wars are not distracting anyone.
Trump may tuck tail and run from his war in Iran, but if things get worse over there, he may have to hope his impeachment due to the Epstein Files distracts voters from the war he cannot extract himself from.

Trump’s demand of “unconditional surrender” will bury him. The Iranians were negotiating in good faith up until the day Trump declared war. No one in Tehran thought it would come to war, because they agreed to stop enriching uranium, and agreed to oversight. Trump attacked them the next day.
What Trump doesn’t realize is that by blindsiding the Iranians he precludes the possibility of surrender. He’s eliminated any goodwill from allies in Europe. Trump has set the clocking ticking as to how long he can sit in the water and throw rocks at Iran while declaring the war being won.
Today is the 8th of March, 2026. In eight months the Republicans must have something to show for this war or they are going to take a beating in the midterm elections. Trump has already hinted the next war will be against Cuba, and he doesn’t have so much as a thin excuse to attack. But Trump knows if the public focuses on the Epstein files he’s going to spend some time, maybe a lot of time, in prison when the Republicans finally lose power in Congress.
None of this helps Trump in Iran.
Unlike any other opponent he might face, Iran is in it for the long haul. The Persians have fought wars for thousands of years and Trump isn’t the worst they’ve seen. He’s an American colonist as far as most Iranians are concerned and they rather die than surrender to him. At a minimum, at the very least, these are people who are not going to be bombed into submission.
The moment, the very second Trump orders ground troops into Iran, he’s screwed. He’ll have to crank up the draft in order to get enough bodies on the ground in the Middle East. The American people will fill the streets and the Republicans will face extinction.
Yet by declaring he will accept nothing but “unconditional surrender” Trump must also commit to total war. It is a war he cannot win, or even extract himself from. In the meantime, the United States is bleeding money out in billions. Israel, who has a leader who also must distract with a war, has to hope they can continue to bleed American taxpayers dry.
Yet this is some sort of end game for Trump unless he can pull off a coup. He’s already the most hated President ever. He’s already destroyed all credibility on the international level. He’s abandoned domestic policy for endless wars that will not force anyone to forget he raped children.
My deepest regret is he will likely defect to Russia, screwing America over one last time.
