  1. You can get health care if you pay your taxes or have international health insurance and can wait to be seen for said healthcare.

  2. Here in the good old U.S.A. it still takes a month for a doctor’s appointment and that’s with Cadillac insurance. I have to make my physical appointments two months ahead. Too bad if you don’t have that. If one goes to the emergency room they are not a priority and get triaged to the back of the line without insurance. If one stays there for a day, one is bankrupt.

  3. Sorry “Tim”, I’m in Canada and if it is serious I can get an appointment with my Dr right away, if not pressing It can be a week or two which is fine. There is also the option of going to Urgent Care (not emerg, which is a 3rd option) which may have you waiting a bit depending on the needs of others but again – same day.

Of course if you come up here from the US expecting to get free healthcare you will be in for a shock. The prices are posted in many emergency rooms for your reading pleasure. You have to have travel insurance.
