  1. So. as a warning to us olds with arthritis, Ibuprofen and other Nsaids help with the discomfort but after awhile tear up one’s stomach. Can cause peptic and duodenal ulcers. My wife is still having some problems two years after the diagnosis and numerous stomach endoscope procedures and duodenal dilating.
