  1. If you don’t have powerpoint you can download a free powerpoint viewer from Microsloth. Just google “powerpoint viewer 2007” and click the first link.

  2. While I appreciate the sentiment, it seemed like two unrelated powerpoints put together… one nostalgic, the other honoring the military. Just glad I didn’t stop halfway through.

  3. Personally, I think it’s lame. If you’re gonna honor our servicemen, then do that. It’s half protest, half honor.

The protesting of today’s actor isn’t even accurate. The Iraq war is NOTHING like WWII. The simple fact that you’re gonna compare the Iraq war to WWII is a great disservice to heros from WWII.

Not only that, yesterday’s actors make nowhere near what today’s actors make. I bet if you started waving the equivalent of 10 million dollar in their face vs going off to a war that’s technically an invasion and occupation, they would rather take the ten mill.

    What a big FAIL.

  4. That poem on page 30 and 31: Tell that to the africans who are raided and raped by soldiers every day.

This is made by somebody with radical pro american views, who can probably not even find moscow or berlin or amsterdam on a map.

Propaganda is a bad thing. Oh, and current day actors are a product from the freedom that those soldiers helped to protect. Bit of cause and effect there…

  5. Any praise for Service people is good praise. It was sort of a mixed message, first it was a nostalgic trip down TV memory lane, then it segued into the Veterans.
It was interesting all the same.
Eli Mae sure did look cute in that Beverly Hillbillies photo.
