It’s a little slow and it doesn’t recognize some thing I tried. But it’s interesting. I have my doubts that it’s a Google Killer.

Exactly what you should expect from that con-man. You know he steals his students work. He wrote this real bad book on math, so bad that he had to self-publish it. NEW kind of Science. Its wrong on many levels. Such a con-man. Oh I like how it returns answers in non-copy and paste form.
Just spent 5 minutes there…I don’t think Google should lose too much sleep over this thing.
It isn’t intended to be a Google Killer. How can you even compare them? Wolfram|Alpha isn’t even really a web search! Honestly, WTF?
Alpha isn’t supposed to be a Google Killer – it doesn’t work like a typical search engine.
This thing’s great. I asked it what the meaning of life was, and it gave me the correct answer instead of having to sift through a million websites to figure it out. Love it. Thank you!
I’ve gotta stick with Google…
When I put in:
answer to life the universe and everything
I get:
answer to life the universe and everything = 42
RWW, do you use Mathematica at work? That’s the only Wolfram product I’ve heard of and supported it when I was an IT Director at a university. Seemed pretty stable and the faculty seemed to like it.
