What’s sad is after so many of Trump’s breaches of the public trust and the law we no longer say “Oh! Wow! That’s awful”.
Now it’s more like “It’s just another day.”
“They will turn every committee of Congress into an investigative body, and they’ll go after the president’s family, the Cabinet, his donors, and friends—half of you in this room will be targeted. I run the protection program.”
In other words, they’ll catch us doing criminal things so we must not allow that opportunity.
