His attack on Iran may oddly be the one thing that leads to his downfall. His usual character of ineptness, stupidity, need to see things blown up and immensely huge ego led him to the attack that had no legit defined outcome that would benefit our nation. And now, his enablers in Congress are seeing the results of not doing the job they were designed to do. As the mid-term primaries fade in the rear view mirror, the fear of being primaried also disappears and maybe finally, some of these republiclans will grow a spine in hopes of winning re-election and, if not only impeach him, but also convict him or at the very least reign him in. The biggest barrier being the lickspittle Speaker of the House, who Congress can bypass with various legislative options.
Not a bet I would make, but a hope that exists nonetheless.
