But the GQP has utilized racism to benefit themselves since 1968, beginning with Nixon and his Southern Strategy. Racists are deliberately voting against their best interests and are blind to the fact their misery, that they constantly complain about, is of their own making, instead blaming minorities for their suffering, simply because they cannot stand the idea of ALL Americans getting the same benefits, believing only white people are deserving of government benefits.
