I can only imagine the hissy fits if that advice had been put out during the recent Pandemic. Look at them trying to tell us how to live our lives!! The horror!!
Nobody ever said to ‘inject bleach’ except some scatterbrained make believe ‘news’ host…the original DOCTOR ADVISED method waws to ‘inject a disinfectant’ ie” UV light through a fiberoptic strand directly into the lungs to kill pathogens, the same UV light found in sunlight used in hospitals and even barber shops to disinfect equipment.
The ‘hiorse dewormer’ is used for that, but only as a seondary, non-intended use. Ivermectin was originally created as an anti-parasitical, in use world wide and directly credited with saving millions of lives in Africa and elsewhere, which earned it’s discoverer a Nobel prize ffs….people need to realize that cnn and many other ‘news’ networks are not only unreliable, they’re outright dangerous, especially in cases like this where deliberately contributing to the deaths of people by twisting reports simply because ‘orange man bad’ is the only thing that drives them.
BTW, cnn ran some stories several years ago saying pregnant womens shouldn’t take tylenol and even the manufacturer said pregnant women should avoid all of it’s products, buuutttt because ‘orange man’ quoted Harvard, John Hopkins and the Mayo Clinis repeating their studies now pregnant liebral women feel they have to take tylenol to spite one man, never mind the potential and recognized harm they’re doing totheir child…of course they can always have a child with significant drug injuries and then blame Trump later,
I’m starting to think Trump should go on tv and quote some studies that drinking horse urine isn’t a good idea and see how many of these twits show up at the stables with straws.
BTW, fauci wrote a paper long before ‘covid’ stating that most of the deaths from the influenza epidemics came from wearing masks and trapping the bacterial, protozoan and virus soup inside the nice warm damp cloth for it to be breathed in and out over and over again.
Is that you, Bobby Junior?
Remember that the majority of Covid deaths were from people not practicing things like wearing masks (like medical people still do) and distancing at the start. Then refusing to get the vaccine because Trump didn’t like that the Vaccine was not named after him. so then it became bad.
So, peoples breath that came out of their bodies with all sorts of bad stuff in it wasn’t causing problems until it was breathed back in?
Now do how the virus is so small that it can just fly up, get through the microscopic openings in a mask. Do the viruses have little hot air balloons or wings after drinking Red Bull. How does that work? Or maybe they fly around attached to little teensy- weensy water droplets?
Good thing you are not going to go with bleach injections since no one suggested that.
And sheep (de-)wormer? Who suggested that? Ivermectin was first a human drug–that is how the inventors got the Nobel Peace Prize. Sometime later it was used for animals or developed for animals.
I presume these tips were for the Spanish Flu–which had a survival rate of 90-98% (I guess more precise calculations were harder a century ago), so the tips make sense; the survival rate of Covid is 99%, so most can ignore many of these tips.
Ironic that some people of certain affiliation learn the concept of taking a statement out of context. They were pounding out the lie of Al Gore claiming to invent the internet when the fact is, he never said that.
The circus peanut asked if it was possible to research whether injecting disinfectant “inside” the body could treat COVID-19. To quote him, “And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?” A common disinfectant used at that time specifically to clean surfaces for the sole purpose of killing the virus, was bleach, which was in the series of suggestions offered for the public health. So, the leap, while incorrect, was logical. And no, no doctor advised an injection of any disinfectant. That was pure whimsy from the idiot at the podium.
He did not suggest the use of ivermectin as a COVID-19 treatment. He did, however, baselessly promote the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine. This led to confusion in public discourse and among some of his supporters, who later embraced ivermectin as an unproven COVID-19 remedy. So his “uneducated followers” need to take the blame for that story.
As for survival rates, somebody needs to learn how to properly research information and present it in real details such as truth. For the year 2020, there was no single, universal survival rate for COVID-19. Instead, rates varied drastically depending on individual factors, especially age, and location. Blanket claims of high survival rates, such as 99%, were misleading because they vastly oversimplified the risks.
The whole Covid pandemic became an issue was because a bunch of snowflakes who had no respect for other people, they were willing to spread the disease and infect people simply out of spite. (Which was the main purpose of the mask, not to keep from getting it, but rather to keep from spreading it) They relied solely on misinformation from sources who knew how to direct it towards to the conspiratorial minded ones who are easily manipulated.
The simple fact, all the measure put in place then and now, were a matter of public safety. Yet, even back then, there were those who resisted. And like today, many of those who did the same either died or found out how bad the virus was. But as I said in an earlier paragraph, the whole issue cannot be summed up in simplistic terms. There were were/are many variables to understand when it comes to topics such as this.
Then there are some who make up “facts” such as the makers of Tylenol said that pregnant women should not use their product. Which is a blatant lie. Years of studies and peer reviewed research have said it is far more dangerous to not treat the migrane than it is to use Tylenol. Sadly, there are people with letters after their name suggesting medical expertise who are what are commonly known as “quacks”. They have no peer reviewed studies to back up their assertions and exist as a minority which weak minded people gravitate to because of extreme emotional/mental disorders.
For the survival rates, I searched for the Spanish Flu one; for the Covid one, I took the CDC notes of how many contracted it and how many died of it–and did the math.
Yes, I know the vast majority of people who died from Covid are those that were at risk: the obese, the elderly, and those with co-morbidities. Those at risk are at risk of dying from many illnesses, so they need to be careful and take vaccines if their doctors recommend it, as well as the treatments for the illness if their doctor recommends it.
So yes, overall the survival rates were pretty good but caveats for the ones at risk exist–and they will have the lower survival rates, unfortunately.
There were also some studies were done about that, such as in Volume 101 of “Neurotoxicology and Teratology”, from Mount Sinai medical center (I think that is its whole name), and Pediatrics journal to name a few. So yeah, if a woman is pregnant, she should talk with her doctor to see if Tylenol should be taken or if another medication should be.
By the way, I am not sure Tylenol is effective for migraines, but that could just be for those I know get migraines.
As for masks: so they help stop exhaling illnesses but don’t stop inhaling them?
what everyone fails to see here is that science is never an absolute – as more information pours in or is discovered through improvements in technology allowing expanded knowledge – then the conclusion will be updated. Science is not a set of pre-determined ideas proven through research; rather science is the discovery of truths through hard fact. When opinions change, it is not a reflection of the former being a lie so much as that the information has evolved to reveal closer insight to the result.

About 7 years ago, Tylenol did state that pregnant women should not consume their product: https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/fact-check-tylenol-did-tweet-225600981.html
