Reminds me of a story: I had a co-worker that said his ex-girlfriend was allergic to formaldehyde. No big deal, right? Wrong–new clothes have formaldehyde on/in them.

So yes, washing newly-bought clothes before wearing them is a good idea.

    Tony, be extra vigilant about printed items, as the fabric is pre-treated with a formaldehyde based primer of sorts that ensures the print will adhere and last
