George Clooney to shoot film in St. Louis

Clooney_george_02Actor George Clooney will star in a film to be shot in St. Louis starting the first week of January.  Filming could take up to five months.  The film titled “Up In The Air” is about an unapologetic corporate downsizer whose untethered life is consumed by collecting air miles.

The film will be directed by Jason Reitman who directed Juno.  Filming will also take place in Miami and another city, but the bulk of the film will be shot in St. Louis.

  1. Hey, Jason Reitman is really moving up. That’s good. I really liked “Thank You For Smoking.”

But to me, he’ll always be the kid from Ghostbusters 2 who says “You know, my dad says you’re full of crap….that’s why you went out of business!”

He also looks a heck of a lot like Kyle Orton.

  2. I didn’t need a car to see Sharon Stone in about ’95. I lived a few streets away from the house where some of Diabolique was filmed. I remember seeing her in a dress and shades from my kitchen window. There was at least one brief shot in the movie where my house was a faint distant blur behind a tree.
