Big Ass BBQ

I have a little dilemma on the date for the BABBQ.  I was hoping to get Saturday July 3rd, but was unable to secure it.  There is a possibility I could still get that date, but it’s not certain (It would take some wheeling and dealing).  (Sundays are not available.)  September 4th would allow a couple of travel days (after the BBQ) for anyone coming from out of town since Labor day is Monday, September 6th.  What I need to know is which date would work best for anyone thinking about coming.  I’m not asking for a commitment at this time, but if you’re considering coming, would one date be better for you than the other?

Both dates have their advantages and/or disadvantages:

Set vs Jul

There would be a little more to do in St. Louis the 4th of July weekend than the Labor Day weekend but St. Louis has plenty to see and do any time of the year for those that can take the time.

I know most of the readers don’t want to or just can’t make it (which is good since we have thousands of daily readers), but I want to ask those who think it’s in the realm of possibility to attend, which date would be best for you?  Others don’t need to answer the poll.
