Close up footage of a twister
A family from Queensland in Australia have filmed a tornado ripping through their farm on Wednesday destroying crops and irrigation pipes.
The video was taken by the Gallo family who started filming as they noticed a strange formation in the clouds. The tornado created a 5 meters wide path on its way to the corn field and destroyed a irrigation system and other equipment. They found debris from the farm 100 meters away from where they were originally.
Mrs Gallo said they never saw anything like it and their kids were quite amused by the phenomenon, but it started to be scary when the tornado moved towards their home.
Hooters happening II
Three of us finally connected. (L to R – Gary, Me and Infidel) I was inside waiting for them and they were outside waiting for me. (Why wait outside when I could be inside drinking beer and seeing the ‘sights’ – DUH!.) I had Gary’s phone number, but I had left it in my hotel room, so I left Hooters and went to my room (nearby) and found the number (after some trouble) and called Gary. He said they were outside waiting for me. Here all along I thought I was “Stood Up” and was planning that as the title for this post. Anyway, we finally connected and enjoyed a nice talk for about an hour and a half. LOL – Infi had to put his shades on for the pictures.
And here’s another with a waitress I didn’t get her name, but I think Infi got her number. You can click to enlarge it if you want.
Both really nice gentlemen. It was a pleasure to meet them. They both are planning to attend the BABBQ in September.
Thanks to Gary’s wife Arina (I think that was her name) for letting him come tonight. It was his first visit to a Hooters. It was Infi’s first visit – today.
Sunday Open Mic
I’m traveling today and tomorrow to Florida to take care of Aunt Iva’s apartment and personal belongings. I’m driving to the Atlanta area today, which is about the half-way point of the trip. Monday morning I’ll head on down and end up in Port Charlotte Florida. I’ve planned at least two nights there and may head over to New Orleans on Wednesday (or Thursday) to stop by my cousin’s house before heading home. It all depends on how long I stay in Florida. I need to be back home next weekend.
So things might be a little slow here this week.
