Infidel – He’s everywhere

Someone mentioned Googling infidel because they didn’t know who he was.  I’m not sure what they found, but when I Googled “Infidel bits” I got this as the first link:

Infidel bits

Just Googling “Infidel” by itself, I found a lot more links.  I was afraid to click any of the links for fear of what I might find.  Here are just a few of the results I found… and a few comments.

B&P reader locations

Where are you located?  Put your town on the B&P Reader Map.

Let’s try this and see if it works.  To add your location:

  • Click on the Enlarge This Map link under the map.  This will take you to the B&P map in Google Maps.
  • Click on Add to My Maps.  You must be signed in to Google.
  • Enter location in the field at the top or Use the zoom buttons to find your location.
  • Click on the EDIT button.
  • Right-click on the map and select Add a Placemark from the context menu.
  • Put your name in the Title box.  Add a Description if you want to.
  • Drag the pointer to the correct location.  You can just link to the nearest city if you want.
  • Click the Done button.

Thanks for playing.

Update:  This seems to be working.

Time contraints here at B&P

I’m going to have some time constraints the next couple of weeks.  I have a couple of projects I’m working on and will be doing a little traveling to Florida (this weekend), so I won’t have quite as much time as usual to scour.  I’ll still be here daily, I just won’t have as much time.

So, if you run across anything you haven’t seen on here that you think is particularly funny or interesting, send it (or a link to it) to [email protected].  I’d appreciate the help.

B&P reader Chicken Taffy at the Arch

Taffy at the Arch

This was taken this past February while he was visiting St. Louis.  He says, “Just wanted you to know I’ve been to the Arch…but no way would I go uptop.”

And I don’t think he means on the actual top, like to change the light bulb…. I think he means he wouldn’t ride up the elevator to the observation area.  Chicken!

New record set yesterday for B&P hits

Yesterday we set a new record for page views on B&P.  Depending on what stats you look at.  I have no idea which is more realistic…. and I think I’m looking at them right.

Payola arrives at B&P Central

ShirtYesterday, I received the first of hopefully many items of payola.  It took nine days from the time I posted about it until I received the shirt. It’s a tie-dyed Cardinal T-shirt.  Nice quality!  Details on the transaction here.   Proof that I can be bought.

Next?

B&P mailbag…

We get letters:

Won’t you please do what you can to convince Playboy Magazine to approach sweet Sarah about doing a “spread” for it?  Palin has not had enough public exposure yet.  Also, what kind of snake was that long green one??

Stephen,
On my next jaunt to the Playboy mansion I’ll do what I can to convince Hef to spread  Mrs. Palin across a centerfold of Playboy Magazine.
As to the green snake, a couple posts earlier, it’s a water snake.  You’d be amazed at the amount of venom it can spit out.

It’s official…

Baseball_Cardinals_Black_Red_Shirt2…I’m a whore!  This is my first time… Honest!

They made me an offer I couldn’t refuse.  I can pick any t-shirt from the Wear Your Beer website and get it for FREE just by making a post about their site.  So, I took a stroll over there to see what they had to offer.  I was surprised with the number of shirts.  I had a hard time picking the one I wanted.  But I decided on this St. Louis Cardinal one.  I couldn’t decide between a couple of the funny beer shirts and then I ran across this one.  Decision was easy then.

All I have to do is keep the link alive for 6 months, which is not a problem.

They have quite a selection.  Beer, bands, TV shows, sports, humor, etc..  You might even find a shirt there that you like.

I’ll let you all know when I get my free shirt.
