In honor of Michelangelo’s death and Toni Morrison’s birth

On this day in history, Michelangelo died in 1564, and Toni Morrison was born in 1931.

Toni Morrison said “At some point in life the world’s beauty becomes enough. You don’t need to photograph, paint, or even remember it. It is enough.”

Luckily, Michelangelo still sculpted David, and I remember these amazing magnets. They also had a version for Venus, and they were sold in museum gift shops.

Patco’s Holiday Plate

Patco has this ceramic plate that we draw on with dry erase markers for each holiday. It’s always been pretty tame – UNTIL – the adult grandkids got hold of the markers. Good thing she’s a grandma with a great sense of humor!! -krisgo
