I used to love those snakes. they were more fun than sparklers. Isn’t it dangerous to burn and be near anything with the word MERCURY in it???

First of all, it’s called mercury thiocyanate.
Second of all, what they were doing is extremely stupid. As if it were not enough that mercury thiocyanate is extremely poisonous in itself, the reaction releases mercury gas among other products.
I have the urge to poo now
