The camels you notice are actually the shadows of the camels. If you look close you can see the camel itself as the lighter colored objects below each shadow. (You can click on this picture to enlarge it.)

Neat photo. There are actually some camels (or were) on a farm near my hometown in mid Missouri – that was a really weird thing to see when we drove down the county road and spotted them!
