A metaphor for the circus peanut’s entire governing philosophy. Don’t fix the problem. Paint over it. Debt exploding? Tell everyone you’re bringing in trillions of dollars. Prices rising? Tell everyone inflation is defeated. Farmers struggling? Hold a photo-op and declare they’re thriving. A war spiraling out of control? Announce everything is going great. Just paint over it. Just tell people it’s fixed. But reality eventually wins. The algae always comes back.
Also, wish our media would tell it like it is as they do in Europe.
