It is amazing how some people think all animals are tame.
And sad, too.
Years go on vacation along the Tamiami trail we stopped at a turnoff to observe some nature. A Florida plated car came up and the occupants started tossing peanuts at a six to eight foot alligator. We left because I sure don’t know what would make an alligator testy or cause them to came at you.
Unfortunately I have a picture of my father tossing mini pretzels to an alligator at the wildlife preserve at the Georgia/South Carolina border
