I was out protesting the second Gulf War. It was incredibly unpopular to do so, because of Weapons of Mass Destruction that Colin Powell assured us that Iraq was on the brink of using against the United States. Colin Powell lied to us.
That war began in 2003, which was 23 years ago. We still have troops there and not a whiff of a Weapon of Mass Destruction has ever been discovered. But what the war proved is that Americans will believe lies told to them without any hard evidence at all, and they will not remember it well enough to hold the liars accountable.
Here we are today, with millions, if not billions, tossed away in Iraq every year, and lies are more common than used diapers in the White House.
Trump’s War on Minnesota has taken a turn for the surreal. He and Pam Bondi, his Attorney General, have declared anyone murdered by ICE to be a domestic terrorist, despite what video evidence has shown. They’ve murdered nurses and school teachers, practically anyone who gets in their way, but suddenly, it’s ICE who is crying foul.
Trump isn’t paying ICE their bonuses. They don’t have the Health Insurance they signed up for. And they’re getting doxed every single day by average Americans who are just plain tired of living in a police state.
America is fighting back.
Last week, dozens of high schools reported students simply walking out to protest ICE snatching children at schools, to lure their parents into surrendering. The students, in most cases, were told if they left the school buildings, they would be punished. Thousands walked out anyway.
The “No Kings Protest” and the “Anti Ice Protests are growing larger each week. Two weeks ago, in Valdosta Georgia, a blood red Republican town, two schools had walk outs and a protest downtown in subfreezing temperatures drew one hundred brave, and chilly souls.
People I have known for years that voted for Trump before they realized what he was, are now joining social action groups. They’re showing up with their children. Things are going to hell and they realize all issues begin at the top.
And this isn’t even mentioning the Epstein Files.
Mostly, there is a core group of activists who believe all things that Trump says and does, no matter how weird or how many people are killed, is an attempt by Trump to push those files away from the light.
The problem, at least for Trump, is those files have been released in countries not run by an Orange Dictator. The names of American politicians and fat cats are going to be brought into the light. The files mention Trump’s name thousands of times. He has every reason to fear those files. He could go to prison forever plus a million years.
Trump had lied, and he has back-stabbed, and he had robbed his followers for years. Now, suddenly, the game is over, and people are angry. Those of us who have opposed him since day one are seeing a wave of new protestors making signs and yelling.
America is rising against the Orange Pedo.
Why are you still worshiping him?

I couldn’t say it better. There are some that will say you should stick to humor but that can be hard to do when the present administration is no laughing matter and affects all the non-super rich in a negative way.
Even though opposed the new Detroit-Windsor bridge figuring that when a Republican Governor (Dick Snyder) said it wouldn’t cost us it would be just another lie. Even though my last crossing on the other bridge showed it needed a lot of repairs.
Now Trump is threatening the new bridge like a petulant six-year-old. Maybe they can put his name on one of the construction crew’s porta-johns and satisfy him. Or actually give him the non-existent “Michigan Man of the Year” award he already claimed he has gotten.

Buzz, silence is complicity. neither Mike W or myself have any intentions of going quietly. We are going to fight back with everything we have. We will not allow the Orange Pedo to ruin this nation while we watch it burn. Norway, England, India, and other countries are prosecuting their child rapists found in the Epstein Files. I grew up in NJ. Everyone associates the orange wonder with NY, but he was heavily involved in Atlantic City…especially with the Miss USA pageant, but we won’t point out the parallels of THAT particular gem to Epstein’s ring right now….but I saw first hand how his failed business worked and crashed that area for a long time.
His supporters cry “TDS” — but the only derangement is supporting him. There is long, documented, proven history of his failings as both a business person and as a human being in general. If one cannot see those things at this point, that’s where the actual derangement exists.
I will never say the Dems put forth perfect candidates. They have all had failings and policies that I disagree with. But they have been the BETTER choice against the Anti-Midas, who turns everything he touches to shit.

Even when Fatty Shack is gone, it will takes years to get that trust back, if ever. I mean, let’s be honest, his history of sexual assaults, poor business acumen, even worse moral character has been known for years, yet enough people were so literally stupid to vote for him. Why protest ICE capturing law breakers and getting them the justice they deserve? I don’t care if coming in to the country illegally is a misdemeanor or felony, the outcome is still the same: if you did come in illegally, goodbye. And the crimes some of them have committed besides entering the country illegally is pretty awful and vile.
Since some jails and prisons refuse to honor ICE detainers, ICE has to go find the illegal aliens. The easiest thing, though, is for the illegal aliens self-deport: get a free ticket to their home country and $2,600.00 plus the opportunity to immigrate legally.
Yes, protest peacefully but stay out of the way of law enforcement activity or bad things can happen.

Also remember the other part of the fifth amendment: Innocent until proven guilty. ICE is not judge, jury, and executioner like they are trying to be. Everyone…citizen or not… deserves the due process afforded in the Constitution and that requires agents to follow the law and act like a proper law enforcement agency, not a band of thugs.

Jails are temporary holding cells. Prisons are for people who have been provided due process. What ICE has is concentration camps. Where no legal process was provided to the victims where they are mistreated and abused in direct violation of human rights.
No local law enforcement has to assist ICE, as immigration enforcement is 100% a federal issue. Local resources need to focus on their own community and statistics show, areas with heavy immigrants, especially sanctuary cities have the lowest crime rates.
