  1. whiskey stones are a good option as well – at least for home use… (I almost never drink anywhere else since I usually have to drive later). –

    Limoncello/limecello makes great ice if you mix it with a bit of water (or soda water) – most home freezers aren’t going to get cold enough to freeze it without diluting it a bit… but it is a great ice option for lemon/lime based cocktails.
