Was it? Well thanks for spoiling a fun picture for us. The last time I was in Hong Kong, they were only using bamboo scaffolding in construction. Scaffolding made on site out of bamboo lengths tied together with strips of plant fiber. The went up as high as ten stories with the stuff, and CAME DOWN several stories from the tops of some of the tallest skyscrapers. Neat!

I saw the same bamboo scaffolding in India. Scary stuff, but certainly flexible.
