6. In Connersville WI, it is illegal for a man to shoot off a gun when his female partner is having an orgasm.

7. In Harrisburg, PA, it is illegal to have sex with a truck driver inside a toll booth.

8. Having sexual relations with a porcupine is illegal in Florida.

9. It is illegal in Utah to marry your first cousin before the age of 65.

10. Sex with animals is perfectly legal for men in Washington state, as long as the animal weighs less than 40 pounds.

  2. In a landmark ruling on a 2003 Texas case the SCOTUS pretty much brought down the Banhammer on sodomy laws (which includes — at least — #1 to #5). Also, following a grisly case involving a man and a horse (the man died) in 2006, sex with animals is now a felony in Washington state.

    This isn’t “below me” at all. This is right on my level. Even Steven (whoever Steven is). I don’t, and won’t (read as can’t) verify the accuracy of ANYTHING I post here unless it’s something I created, did or saw myself.
    If I tried to research each and every post to the best of my ability, then there might be one or two posts daily… if that. That would take the fun out of it for me and it would most likely be the end of Bits and Pieces.
    My posts have always been “buyer beware” and I rely on you, the readers to point out where they’re wrong, and many of you have. I’ve always credited the corrections in the posts and will continue to do so.
    It may be “made up crap to spew on the internet”, but I didn’t make it up. I found it and it for one reason or another it hit me as interesting or funny, so I posted it.
    Besides, there have always been weird laws and these are no stranger than some of the others I’ve read about.
