Definitely a parody since boxes do not fall out with the help of gravity when horizontal.
Also, I always wondered: if you are concerned about plastic straws in the water, why not improve the disposal of garbage? Obviously, straws are not thrown away by themselves but with other stuff.
One problem is that people don’t throw their trash away properly and just toss it anywhere. Like even in a convenient waterway way or where water runoff will take it to a waterway which floats it down somewhere else and causes a problem.
Pretty sure Dutch isn’t the official language of California.

Tim, The first one in a row has string tied round it, and as other are pushed in the string follows, so when the panel is opened pulling the string pulls them out.
