  1. If you make up too many words or a whole language to tell a fantasy story, who would be able to read it?

    In your story, some woman/female being could have a Queen Anne neckline–but you would describe it, not say it is a Queen Anne neckline. Just because there is no Queen Anne in your universe does not mean the neckline is not there–it is just called something else.

    In a similar fashion, science fiction writers have the same basic issue but can swing it.
