When all the hubbub about gay marriage started I heard a lawyer say: Let ’em marry; it’s more work for us!
It’s a little cynical, but it ain’t a false statement!
Every single person on the planet creates work for someone somewhere….
1. Gay people will get married.
2. The concept shared by every human culture for thousands of years that marriage is a union of one man and one woman will be deemed obsolete and socially useless, even oppressive.
3. Heterosexual marriage rates will decline.
4. Advocates for the elimination of other socially useless and oppressive beliefs, such as the notion that humans, like all other animals, come in only two sexes as determined by their chromosomes, will be encouraged.
5. The views of the advocates mentioned in (4) above will be encouraged by all right-thinking people and, ultimately, become mandatory.
