  1. In my area there is an airport that was started in 1928. The people that moved there since complained about the noise and the county paid for thicker glass and other sound proofing for their houses. I’m on the East/west flight path, about two miles. I just learned to ignore the jet noise when they take off toward the east. And like watching the others especially when the DC3’s came lumbering in years ago. Love the sound of radial engines.
