1. If the caption was 2000 years it might be somewhat accurate. Egyptians, Greeks and Chinese were all working on precursors to modern scientific process.

2. it’s with generators! see I’d do alright.

3. Going back much more than about 50 years would make language and communicating difficult at best–but more than likely, almost impossible.

   And the clothing the time traveler would be wearing would most likely raise a lot of suspicion.
