Hammerin’ Hank Aaron hit the very first of his 754 home runs in old Sportsman’s Park on April 23, 1954 off of pitcher Vic Raschi. Sportsman’s Park was renamed Busch Stadium after Anheuser Busch bought the Cardinals.
