The lottery: a tax on people bad in/with math.
But but somebody will win it.
I’ve got as good a chance as anyone else.
It would save me from the bookies hunting for me.
It would be paradise, easy street forever.
My family would be sooooo happy.
It doesn’t have to be the jackpot there’s lots of smaller prizes.
I’d just squander the money for the ticket on groceries or something.
I could buy a house and have a HOA at my beck and call.
All these legitimate reasons and more.
