From the Macedonian Thrace Brewery in Komotini, Greece, comes a beer that probably tastes great, but sure is hard to say without having a laugh or two (for obvious reasons). According to the company’s website, Vergina (tee-hee) is currently available “in the best clubs and cafes in New York and Chicago.” We’re guessing they didn’t do much market research before branching out to the U.S.

Never saw this beer here in Athens.
I had this beer in CT, it actually wasn’t bad. I would say it tasted like and alcoholic ginger ale.
