Maybe I’m strange, but I like to watch trailers (Why are they called trailers? We always called them previews) at the movies. The more the better. Sometimes they’re better than the movie you went to see.
Infi – Don’t forget that we used to also sit through Movietone News, two cartoons and four or five ‘previews’ so that you could get to the theater fifteen minutes late and not miss the feature, or on Saturday, the double feature and/or the serial movie.
RT Jonco… they’re called trailers because they used to be shown after the movie. Especially in the age of serials, they were used to preview the next installment.
That’s awesome!
now we need a way to skip those in movie theaters

Geez Richard, did you drive to the theater in your new Model-T?

Or going to the bathroom during tv commercials?
Not for home movies.
