The first testicular guard “Cup” was used in Hockey in 1874 and the first helmet was used in 1974.
That means it took 100 years for men to realize that their brain is also important.

The reason that it took so long for helmets to be worn was because Hockey was invented by Canadians…

Hey, don’t disparage our dear cousins the Canucks. Think about it. Which hurts more, a blow to the head or to the family jewels?
That’s because it takes a lot more balls than brains to be an exceptional hockey player.
