You make my dreams come true…

… Like you’ve never seen it before

A lip dub is a little like a fan-made music video. It usually involves a group lip-syncing a popular song. The good ones are fairly elaborate. This is the best I’ve seen. And it was made by a bunch of high school students.

This isn’t a regular lip dub. The video features dozens of students. It was done in a single shot while walking throughout the school. And did I mention it was filmed in reverse? They had to walk and sing backwards. Then the video was reversed. Finally, the song was laid on top. This looks like so much fun.

Here’s how it was done….

  1. Cool, however the “making-of” video was more entertaining to me than the finished version!

This also reminds me of a similar school video using that Black Eyed Peas song I Got a Feeling, also made in one take.

  2. haha I go to the opposing school it’s now a contest between the two, our first on kind of sucked

  3. It was cool, but I don’t understand why it was done backwards.

I guess the idea isn’t for the lips to match the song? because they definitely don’t.

If it was just to prove it could be close even backwards, then that’s neat.
