  1. Gosh – I’m guilty of this (seems to be a predominately male thing), but if I can squeeze the toothpaste tube harder and get a bit more out, then why not the remote..?

  2. With the batteries in place, I spin them in the remote a few times with the idea that maybe the battery scraping on the contacts will scratch off any microscopic corrosion. Yep it works for me. I swear I’ve gotten a few more years out of the same batteries by doing this. Try it next time.
