It’s a clock, but instead of having ticking hands, there is a guy behind the glass with a marker changing the time every minute by hand. Only thing is, there is no man behind the clock. It’s a flatscreen that plays a 24 hour loop of this video by the Dutch designer Maarten Baas watching his own clock somewhere and painstakingly erasing and re-writing each minute.

i think that’s awesome! personally, i have a thing for unique clocks. check out the floor clock my in-laws gave us for a wedding gift (father-in-law actually MADE this – it’s fantastic – stands 7 feet tall):

Me too. I love unusual clocks. I got a tix clock for christmas, and it hangs in my office, confusing the hell out of people.
I wonder if I can get a copy of the video so I can make my own.
