  1. Isiah, that is a python. That is a wild animal, not a domesticated pet. Snakes do not have the capacity to feel love, or pity, or sorrow. They react to three things; those things they can eat, those things that can eat them, and those things they can breed with. The best you can hope for is not to enter any of those three categories and therefore be ignored by the snake.

That snake wraps that little girl’s neck and by what device do you remove it? Yelling at the snake won’t help. It’s six foot plus so it’s strong than anyone you know. You gonna cut something that size off her neck with a knife?

    Sorry. Time’s up. She’s dead.

It is incredibly stupid to mix large snakes with children. True enough, they are normally docile but it is a foolish, foolish, risk for what? An interesting internet photo?

I have owned, captured, rescued, and treated snakes of all species since I was a kid, but I have never owned an exotic. They are dangerous when they get big, and they are exceedingly difficult to handle.

Letting a small child handle a big snake is a terrible error in judgment and her parents ought to be arrested.

  2. for a small 60% cut i will keep track of who owes who a beer. lets see mike gets 2 and isiah get 1 got it. miss anyone. oh forgot to mention jonco’s 40% cut.

  3. So, Mike are boa’s still safe? I am not planning on getting one any time soon, but I do miss my old one. My dad got me it when I was a kid it was the year Hillary Clinton took the senate in NY so we named it after her. Which is appropriate on many levels I think.

  4. Ball pythons are safe because they don’t give very large. Some boas are smaller, but you are still dealing with an animal who doesn’t want to be caged, who likes to eat live food, and who is a natural escape artist.

Get a red rat snake, or a king snake, or something that if it does escape, can at least say it lives here
