  1. Infidel & Richard there’s an old covered bridge here in Forsyth county about 15 mins from me. Pooles Mill bridge, the county bought it, and 10 surrounding acres in 97 and made it into a park.

    • The ride was great. Perfect weather…except….. Actually it was a tad brisk when we left about 7:30, but gradually warmed up as the day went on. We kept dropping layers of clothing. but never got down to t-shirts. Always rode with long sleeves. But, we did hit light rain about 45 minutes from home. Just enough to get you wet, but not enough to stop and put rain gear on. I’ll post more about the trip tomorrow.

  2. Looks like a great place to ride. Where I live (N. Texas), we’ve had 12 inches of rain over the past 7 days. Today was the first sunshine we’ve seen! I took the bike out for a ride this morning — was great finally having some nice weather!
