Welcome to our little hostage compound

An inside look at Jaycee Dugard’s prison

Welcome

These extraordinary pictures are the first glimpse inside the squalid back garden compound where Jaycee Lee Dugard was kept captive for 18 years.

A hand-painted ‘Welcome’ sign leads the way to a rundown world of tattered tents and outbuildings amid overgrown trees and bushes.

Police are now investigating evidence that Jaycee was ‘brainwashed’ by the religious fanatic who snatched her when she was 11.

  1. I wanted to make a joke about how my first apartment was like that, but after reading that link I am too depressed to do so.

  2. I feel so sad that Jaycee and later her children had to go through this in life.
It is really horrendous what this man has done to them. Nothing short of chopping
off his genitals with a dull, rusty razor and cramming them down his throat would
pacify me. He is a deviant.

  3. Generally speaking I’m against torture but every once in a while someone really puts enough effort into earning it I just think they ought to get what they deserve.

Putting Bella in charge isn’t a bad idea either.

  4. This sick evil b@stard ruined three lives; not only Jaycee but those 2 little girls as well. 15 & 11, they’ve never been to school, have no concept of history or math, probably never knew others their age, never had a dad, and thought their mother was their sister. Those tents and cages must have been real nice during the hot summers or the cold rainy winters.

I’m with Mike F on this one…except I can’t think of any torture that would be horrific enough for him, especially now that “torture” has been redefined to mean dribbling water up a nose, or making scary noises in the next room, or making up scary things to tell them.

  5. I don’t have to have torture defined for me. I can see it in those photos above.

I hope they toss him in prison. I’m going to befriend the family of a lifer and make sure that bastard spend each and every night being gang raped by anyone who will do him for a pack of smokes.

Hell, I’ll set up a paypal account and see if we can get him some 24 hour service.

  6. Until now I had only seen the headlines about this story, because I suspected if I went further it would sicken me. Now I’ve read the story and it does sicken me and fills me with a mounting fury. I lack the capacity to understand the level of depravity it takes to do this to another human. Right now I could easily work on this vermin for a few hours with a pair of pliers and a blow torch, and never feel sorry about it.
