I was inside the Statue of Liberty when I was 5 or 6 on a family vacation. Back then (I think it was 1902) You could go all the way up into the torch. Too bad I was so young because I can only vaguely remember it!
Went a long time ago (when the earth was still cooling) – the torch was not part of the “tour” — but I do remember the zillion steps and the tiny windows across the crown.
I would love to go there one day
infi – Two words – ROAD TRIP!
thats a long road trip
Road trips can be accomplished faster in airplanes
infi – Paul is correct(this time). There must be 60-70 flights a day to NYC. Or really do it cool and ride Amtrak.
Would love to go sometime but there are no roads between here and there!

(A) Scott,
ARe you really 112 or 113 years old? You must be if you were there in 1902.
Paul – Good catch. Obviously he meant 1802.
C’mon, now DJ, be fair: post a picture of Larry Craig with his Wide Stance, or Mark Foley with his favorite page…

Paul – Oops, sorry Paul. I just wanted a pic of the Statue. Didn’t even notice that other guy.
DJ, I can’t put my finger on it exactly, but there’s something fishy about your statement.
