We went to the St. Louis Cardinals game last night. We had tickets to the Champions Club which includes all the food and drink you want. Good food and cold beer.
Then we went to our seats in the 25th row behind first base.
It was a great night for baseball (weather-wise), but the Cardinals lost to the Cincinnati Reds 5–4. The highlight of the game was a home run by Albert Pujols.
Hey saw your mud volleyball pictures on izsmile today. Pretty cool
Go Reds!
Yeah, I know. But let me enjoy even the smallest of victories. But Jonco, I have to tell you, I’ve been watching the Cards more and more. And I have to admit that they are a fun team to watch. I really like Molina and, of course, Pujols.
Got my internet connection back after twelve… LONG… d…a…y…s… …
So, what did I miss?
Maffu – Just the usual off the wall comments by the usual suspects (you know who you are), and Scott’s puns and infi’s ogling of the women. Oh, and Jonco’s new site. Try it out.
Yeah and with the addition of Holliday and Derosa… those guys just blossomed when they got here. Sometimes change is good.
Maffu,
12 days! wow! How did you survive?
Amy,
There were 2 pics of people in mud there. Only one was mine. Thanks for letting me know about it.
Jonco, I survived by drinking my own urine and forming a new religion based on pie and human sacrifice.
Sounds like you got back online just in the nick of time, before you did something crazy.
Oh, wait…
Jonco – All the food and drink you want?
So just how much did you eat and drink?
Jonco – Really glad that DeRosa is going good in the STL. He was always one of my favorites when he was on the Braves.
Let’s just say I ate more than I drank. Not fancy food, but not just hot dogs either. The beef brisket was very good even if I did have to put it in a hot dog bun. I think I just had 2 beers there. You can’t take anything out of the room so I did buy a soda when we went to our seats. But I could have just stayed there and watched the game in air-conditioning. But, as I said the weather was great. The heat wave we d broke .. at least for a couple of days. But it would be great for an afternoon game on a hot muggy day.
I’m with Richard, DeRosa is my favorite.
W/B Maffu, next time you need to sacrifice someone, let it be an ex/telemarketer
I’m an ex-telemarketer.
I repented my ways many years ago. Please don’t kill me.
