I’m thinking about starting a new website.  During my searches for B&P I run across things that I find inspiring, motivational, or just some great advice.  Also some good quotes and inspirational stories.  Occasionally I’ll post one or two of these here, but I want to create a better outlet for them.  B&P is primarily a humor site and I don’t want to change it that much.

I’ve been doing some research on a name for the new site.  Here are some that are available (as of now).  It’s hard to come up with something clever that isn’t already taken.

  1. From the list, I sorta like Lifetastic. A lot of them sound kinda Dr.Phil-ish or new-agey.
    How about BitsandPiecesofWisdom, WiseBitsandPieces, BitsofLife, GoodBitsandPieces, BitsyIsHot (oops sorry)

  3. I like TakeMyAdvice.us and ChangeLife.us. I liked ThinkChange but kinda sounds weird with ‘.me’

    and I like DJ’s ‘BitsofLife’

  5. I like the idea of using B&P still in the title! If not, maybe InspirationPlease – like Information Please – only cooler!

  16. I’m not a big fan of “touchy feely” inspirational, soft-skill, namby-pamby, wussy emotions, but from the list ThinkYes.us is my favorite.

  17. Don’t forget to work on that other website baconbitsandpiecesofham.us for all those yummy pork posts you’ve had.

  19. Several of these are good, one thing to consider is what will be easy to say/understand, ex. some with the number 2 might be confusing to have to spell out for someone. I’m probably leaning towards lifetastic.

    Pits and Bieces, Okay, sorry bout that one.

    I like the idea of it having a similar name, but I can see how you wouldn’t want it the same-ish. And it wouldn’t need to be.

    Honestly, I don’t like any of the ones you listed. None of them give me the impression that they’re personal to you.

  29. I’ll also chime in for wise.bits&pieces, with the stipulation that no one in this group posts inappropriate comments over there. But, heck, we all know that none of us would do so, would we? I would like to see if we can come to a consensus to permanently bar DAYUM from the new site.

  39. I like Dj’s ideas. Something with bit and pieces in it. Maybe, icantbelieveitsnotb&P. us. Dunno. Love the idea for the site though Jon, I’ll be there with bells on! TMI?
