  1. “Driving the porcelain bus” as we used to say. She seems to be doing a pretty good job, but her ticket-taker is lying down on the job.

    I used to work for a guy who was a Ceramics Engineer. He told me the difference between a ceramist and a ceramics engineer: A ceramist specializes in dinner ware; a ceramics engineer specializes in “after-dinner ware.” Too true!

  2. I can remember talking to “Ralph” about his “Buick” too many times back in college.
    And that awful spinning if I closed my eyes. But what the heck, throw up, pass out, wake up and start all over again…
