Good one Jonco…how the h3ll is the national average 50% on this one? Nice work on your above average score! I came in at 82% BTW.
I got 10 too,I feel soo smart
Sad, very sad. I won’t even say what I scored. I guess I spend too much of my time reading B&P rather than keeping up on current events.
I guess I am a news junky. I scored (94) 12 out of 12 and didn’t even think about guessing once. Wonder why 12 for 12 is not 100?
W00t!
You correctly answered 11 out of the 12 possible questions, which means you did better on the quiz than 82% of the general public.
50% means that the average person scored at the 50th percentile (half of the public did worse, half did better). It doesn’t mean they got half the questions wrong.
Got 11 of 12. Could not remember the casulty count. It seems though that some readers understand politics better than math.
9/10
I got the casualty count wrong – Im sure it was above 5,000..
goggling the answers does not count – those of you who cheated!
100%. Pretty easy though if you follow the news.
100%!
5%. 5% ain’t too bad for a Brit. A pissed Brit at that – but pissed means angry in the US? It just means pissed here in the UK. Pissed as in drunk. Still, 5% eh? Not bad!
I too scored 10 out of 12. I’m right there with you Jonco!
12 out of 12… 94% of you are morans… 😉
12 of 12…probably because I’m a Rush/Hannity/Levin junkie. Lord forgive me.
umm, ya mean morons smart guy? 🙂
I believe you mean ‘morons’, Toine.
The Bob Edwards Show tweeted this on Tuesday, and I’m either proud or embarrassed to say I too scored with 6% of the population with 12 for 12. Just a wannabe wonk, that’s me.
I stand corrected, thank you.
If you can’t spell moron, you are one…
Toine’s comment was the funniest one this week! MORANS! ROFL!!!!
DJ,….;)
nEVER MInd.
Charlie Summers is not a moran, I need to take that test. Where is it?
12 for 12!
Got 12/12 Woohoo!
I can’t believe you guys didn’t get the morans reference. Hasn’t Jonco posted this before?

I can’t seem to post a comment. This is the morans reference:
I’m such a moran I can’t seem to post a comment. Do a google image search of “morans” to get the reference.
9th percentile. Turns out I know f all about American current affairs. I’m ok with that.
Dave, If you weren’t such a moran yourself, you’d have notice that message that your comment was being held for moderation. 🙂 First time commenters are held for moderation as are comments with certain words in them. Once I approved your first comment the rest should go straight thru. As for the picture, I’m very disappointed this particular ‘moran’ is wearing a Cardinal shirt. Thanks for joining in.
Jonco – Maybe toine and the dude with the sign are one and the same. I think that he might be wearing a mullet as well. You need to confiscate his shirt!
“11” and i don’t have a TV which probably helped my answers.
Whoops, I’m so embarrassed. Sorry!
Dave, you should be. Shame on you for dissing STL.
I got 9 out of 12 correct and I am a foreign female. I’m not asking what that means for the females of America, most of which over 50 probably don’t watch (and never have watched) the news, but rather what it means when the national average score is lower than a /foreign/ person of the female persuasion (who seem to consistently score lower according to the study). Perhaps the site is reaching only certain demographics, or even more foreigners like me who maybe aren’t as informed as to American current affairs (anything’s possible, it /is/ the internet).
I’d check their methods of gathering information if I could 🙂 Polls are misleading.
