Do people just randomly mix sh*t together to come up with this stuff?
This is a hoax. I got my grandchildren all excited, and while we were getting things ready, my daughter checked Snopes. I felt rather foolish. Warning to all grandmas–check Snopes before trying to awe your grandchildren.

I heard if you put a 16 penny nail in a glass of Coke at night, it will be rusted out by morning.

haha, my brother and step brother tried for days on end to do this. Someone had to tell them it was fake. xD
cut up some of a glow stick into it. it will work. you need the lumino in it to mix with the hydrogen peroxide to for the chemiluminscence reaction. that will make it glow

Doggone it. I was really hoping. And I’m still trying to open a u-lock with a Bic pen without any luck. I’ll fall for anything! 🙂
